Appointments & Consultations

You can schedule an appointment by calling our office at (702)899-1700 during our business hours, or you can request an appointment online through the “Contact Us” or “Request an Appointment” section of our website.

Please bring your doctor’s referral (if required by your insurance), your insurance card(s), a valid form of photo identification, and any relevant medical records, such as imaging reports or physical therapy notes. You may also want to bring a list of your current medications and any questions you have for our practitioners.

Initial consultations typically last between 30 min to an hour, but this can vary depending on your individual needs and the complexity of your case.

Whether you need a referral depends on your insurance plan. Some insurance providers require a referral from your primary care physician or specialist before you can see a prosthetist or orthotist. Please check with your insurance provider, or feel free to contact our office, and we can help clarify this for you.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. We kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows us to offer that time slot to another patient in need.

During your evaluation, one of our certified prosthetists or orthotists will conduct a thorough assessment of your needs. This may include a physical examination, gait analysis, measurements, and a discussion about your goals and lifestyle. We will work with you to determine the most appropriate device for your situation.

Yes, you are welcome to bring a family member or caregiver with you to your appointment for support and to help with communication.

The timeline for receiving your device depends on several factors, including insurance authorization, the complexity of the device, and the fabrication process. We will provide you with an estimated timeframe after your evaluation and once your device design is finalized.
